UX Design

I learned to do professional UX Design for the following reasons:

(1) I wanted to graduate from the amateur design level to a flawless design approach. I knew that high quality photo's using my Canon digital camera would not suffice. I desired to create animated characters. I became frustrated with using basic design apps, which limited my creativity. I was not able to draw animated characters, to look like humans.

(2) I desired to create characters, letter fonts, and color schemes exactly the way that I envisioned. I know from previous product design experience, that it is challenging to explain to the art design team, what I need. It can be difficult to explain what you see in your imagination, to an individual, who is on the receiving end. I needed to realize that it was time to upgrade my skills. I decided to learn to use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. The hours of learning to properly create images, graphics, characters, logo's and fonts was well worth my time. The designs that I need to create are done in a shorter span of time, rather than waiting day-by-day, for an art designer to do them for me. Furthermore, I am assured that I can create the designs without any mistakes. The theme and topic for each creation can be flawlessly expressed.

(3) Most importantly, every product design- physical or digital, has a unique origin from my original creative intelligence. I need for each creation to be different with the element, shape, color, style or design. Basically, each creation has its own characteristics and personality. I am obsessed with creating and designing from within myself. I do absolutely avoid the mass production cookie-cutter approach. This is my definition of being a "true artist," according to my own standards.
